Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity is at the heart of supporting our Naval Community past, present and future. Since 2007, the RNRMC has funded projects and facilities that boost morale for those who serve today. The RNRMC distributes funding to organisations and charities which care for serving personnel, children, families and veterans of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Royal Fleet Auxiliary

Our goal is to inspire and enable people to give the gift of voluntary service to meet the needs of the day in their communities. We believe that our volunteers’ service makes them, and Britain, healthier and happier.

We also work closely with the NHS, providing valuable support services that allow hardworking hospital staff time to focus on looking after the people in their care.

Working one-to-one, in groups and online, our network of trained volunteers provide the time and skills that help people feel stronger, healthier and more able to cope with any challenges they may be facing.

Through social activities and groups, they create connections and friendships that help communities thrive and boost the wellbeing of the people involved.

Our services vary from area to area and in some cases are available via your local authority or health services.

If you enjoy playing Rummikub or would like to learn as you meet new people, drop-in to our friendly group. We recommend you ring the library first to check the club is running that week.

Russets in Hilsea, Portsmouth is a Residential home specialising in the provision of services relating to accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care, caring for adults under 65 yrs and learning disabilities.

S.A.D. offers support to individuals and the friends and family of those dealing with the affects if stress, anxiety or depression. S.A.D Portsmouth's objective is to provide a support group that is FREE to all.

Safe at Home is run by Portsmouth City Council. We’ve been offering technologies to help people live safely at home for over 10 years, and our teams are committed to helping people live full and independent lives.

As well as being experts at what we do, the income we make is invested straight back into local services – meaning that we can help more people in Portsmouth to live well at home.

By affirming these truths, and desiring to know the power of them in the heart, the church at Salem Chapel seeks to uphold its original purpose as stated in the chapel's Trust Deed of 1824:

"For promoting the Christian religion as it is professed by Protestant Dissenters of the Denomination of Particular Baptists."
