Portsmouth Chinese School is part of the Portsmouth Chinese Association (PCA) which is a registered charity organisation. The school was founded in 1980 and has provided opportunities for many generations of local Chinese Children to learn, read and write the language. Students aged between 3 - 18 are taught at various levels depending on their standard.

In recent years we have extended our services. Headteacher Renee Lu welcome children of any ethnic origin who are interested in Chinese Language join our school.

Sunday Suppers at St Simon’s has been running for nearly 30 years, offering friendship, companionship, a listening ear and hot, freshly-cooked food to vulnerable people from 5:30pm to 7:00pm nearly every Sunday (check the calendar).

Once we receive your referral, we’ll contact you within five working days to arrange assessment.

We’ll send you some information about the assessment, and a couple of questionnaires to complete before we talk. These questionnaires will help us get a clearer understanding of your difficulties.

During the assessment, we’ll ask you how you’re feeling and how you’ve been coping up to now. We’ll listen to you and we won’t judge what you say.

It’s ok if you don’t know where to start. Sometimes it’s difficult to describe our thoughts or feelings. We’ll help you make sense of things.

We’ll ask a series of standard questions to help us understand the type of support that would be best for you.

The Tall Ships Youth Trust is a charity that offers young people, from all walks of life, unique physically and mentally challenging experiences at sea. The aim is to develop their long-term life skills including team working, confidence and problem solving skills. The charity also offers adventure voyages for adults which support their Youth Development Programme.
