Talking Therapies PortsmouthMake The First Step
We know the courage it takes to ask for help, and we hope you’ll consider therapy with us. Read more about what to expect if you refer. Talking Therapies Portsmouth is for everyone aged sixteen or over, who live in Portsmouth and are registered with a GP in the city. You can self-refer by calling us on 0300 123 3934 or by completing the secure form online. https://www.talkingtherapiesportsmouth.nhs.uk/ Once we receive your referral, we’ll contact you within five working days to arrange assessment. We’ll send you some information about the assessment, and a couple of questionnaires to complete before we talk. These questionnaires will help us get a clearer understanding of your difficulties. During the assessment, we’ll ask you how you’re feeling and how you’ve been coping up to now. We’ll listen to you and we won’t judge what you say. It’s ok if you don’t know where to start. Sometimes it’s difficult to describe our thoughts or feelings. We’ll help you make sense of things. We’ll ask a series of standard questions to help us understand the type of support that would be best for you. Nelson Drive

The Bentley Young Persons TrustWhat We Do
The Bentley Young Persons' Trust exists to help the young people of Portsmouth, and its surrounds, achieve their full potential in any field of endeavour by: Providing funding and/or equipment for individuals who could not otherwise afford to pursue a particular talent. Providing funding and/or equipment for organisations and groups offering young people the opportunity to experience activities outside of their normal lives. Providing funding and/or equipment to any young person to allow them to train in any field where they may excel or help other people. Who We Help Since 1996, when BYPT was officially formed, hundreds of young people have benefited from grants and assistance from the trust. From simple things like a sewing machine to allow a dance group to make their own costumes to sail training days and so much more. Groups such as Scounts and The Prince's Trust volunteers have also benefited from grants. Highfield Barn
