Portsmouth Area Talking News (PATN) is a registered charity (founded in 1973) providing weekly/monthly/quarterly audio publications to visually impaired people. Recordings are now made from various locations, replacing the previous PATN studio. The service is available via USB’s (memory sticks) / the PATN website / Amazon Alexa. We campaign for an inclusive society, connect people to practical advice, and pioneer new treatments for hearing loss and tinnitus.

We provide trusted, independent information and support for deaf people and those living with hearing loss or tinnitus.

Autism Hampshire has launched a brand-new free running group for autistic adults in Portsmouth, in collaboration with BH Live.

The group is open to all fitness levels and will meet once a month on Mondays, from 11am to 12pm. Whether you're completely new to running or looking for a relaxed, supportive space to get active, come and give it a go.

Part of Autism Hampshire's Serendipity Community Groups which are a great way for autistic adults to meet in a supportive and non-judgmental setting.

The Elizabeth Foundation is a charity supporting infants and preschool children with all degrees of deafness and their families. We are inclusive of children with additional physical, sensory and specialist learning needs. Our experienced team of professionals support children with all degrees of deafness to learn to listen and speak using the multi-sensory oral/aural approach, which engages all of a child's senses in natural, fun and child-centred activities that support communication development.
