8th Portsmouth Girls Brigade

8th Portsmouth Girls’ Brigade (GB) has been in
existence for more than 75 years.
The volunteer leaders love working with girls
and young women… seeing them make friends,
learn new skills, achieve, have fun, and learn
more about Jesus week by week.
We’re part of Solent District GB and often join
in with other groups for action-packed activities.
Solent District GB is made up of 10 groups
spread between Emsworth to the east, Fareham
to the west, and Waterlooville to the north.

Age UK Portsmouth Joining Forces Portsmouth

Joining Forces Portsmouth provides free befriending support and a range of social activities for lonely or isolated military veterans and their dependants in Portsmouth and the surrounding area. Our aim is to help older veterans stay independent and have greater confidence by providing friendly social contact, support and companionship.

Our Veterans’ Breakfast Club takes place twice a month on the second Friday and the last Friday of every month from 10:00am to 12:00pm

All ex-service personnel are welcome to come along, together with their partners, to socialise with other veterans, take part in the banter and enjoy a great breakfast at the Bradbury Centre café.
Spaces are limited so you will need to give us a ring in advance to book your place and pre-pay for your breakfast.
The cost is £5.00 for a breakfast sandwich and a cup of tea or coffee.
