Portsmouth Jami Mosque is the first established mosque and place of worship for Muslims in Portsmouth. The Mosque was established in 1972, originally at Marmion Road and due to the growing number of worshipers later moved to its present address of 111 Victoria Road North in 2002.
Portsmouth Jami Mosque is the largest Mosque in the South coast of England and can accommodate more than a thousand worshipers.
