Veterans and their families bring a wide range of experience, skills and knowledge - and our communities are stronger when local veterans are getting involved. The Community Builders at Help for Heroes are here to help you build on what’s strong. We offer opportunities for meeting spaces to connect, share skills, spark new friendships, and take part in activities that matter to you. Your local Community Builder can be found at Help for Heroes cafes, events, by email or by telephone – ready and waiting to help you get more involved locally. CommunityDT@helpforheroes.org.uk. Help for Heroes helps veterans, their relatives, reservists, and people who worked under UK command to make a success of life in the civilian world. You don’t have to have served in a conflict, and it’s never too late to ask for help. If you need support with your physical or mental health, feel lonely, want to get involved in sports or community activities, or need practical help, just get in touch.
