Devonshire Avenue Baptist Church is a church in the heart of Southsea.
We are a friendly group of people of all ages, backgrounds and nationalities - but with a common desire to serve Jesus in our city.
Whether you live locally, or are visiting the area, we hope our website will introduce you to who we are and what we do. We hope we'll see you soon at The Avenue.

Drayton United Church is a joint Methodist and United Reformed Church serving the local community.

A warm welcome is extended to all.

Our main service is at 10.00am on Sunday mornings. On the third Sunday of each month, there is also an evening service of reflection and interaction at 6.30pm. There is an additional communion service on the first Sunday of each month at 9.00am. This is followed by breakfast from 9.30am and All Age café Style Church, very suitable for families.

All are welcome to join us for all or any part of the morning.

A Sunday Club, ‘Reboot’, for young people aged from three years to teenagers meets in the halls on Sunday mornings from 9.45am. Parents are also welcome with younger children. The club provides free-play activities, time to relax and age-appropriate Christian teaching. During the week, a number of groups meet. These include Bible study, ‘Open Door’, a Friendship Group for Senior Citizens and an active Choir.

The church sponsors a range of Uniformed Organisations for all ages who meet throughout the week and a Playgroup that meets daily. A variety of groups from the community also meet regularly on the premises. We have three halls, (one with a stage) a kitchen and a small Committee Room. The church entrance and foyer include a welcoming coffee area, which is open to the local community for Coffee on Friday mornings between 10.30 and 11.30. A Jubilee Garden in the grounds of the Church has recently been created. All are welcome to come and use this space for rest and reflection.

Faith & Football is a Christian Charity that meets young people & their families where they are on life's journey & helps them reach their full potential.
Faith & Football is based in Portsmouth, UK and runs a number of Bible Lego Club, Topic explorers and Extra Time Literacy scheme. Community Football Leagues, the Social Enterprise & Business Challenge, the Extra Time Literacy Scheme, the Team Talk Life Skills Course, the Enterprise & Leadership Academy, the Time Out Family Engagement programme and more! We also work overseas in India, Nigeria, The Gambia, Uganda and Serbia! We aim to equip and enable local Christians to make a difference where they are! We work with Christian professional footballers.

Family Church

We gather people of all ages and background from across Hampshire. We're a vibrant, Bible teaching church eager to serve those in and beyond our city with the good news about Jesus Christ.

We think of ourselves as a family of Christians, ordinary people who meet together to worship God. By ‘ordinary’ we mean: young people; children and teenagers; studying at school and college; middle-aged people, working at various occupations to earn a living; older people, appreciating their retirement years.

Hafiziah Madrasah is a Sunni mosque located in Southsea, England. It serves as a spiritual home for the local Muslim community, offering a serene atmosphere for worshipers of all ages and backgrounds. The mosque focuses on inclusivity and welcomes both men and women to pray and engage in religious activities.

Food Bank @ All Saints Church on Tuesdays 11am-12pm (please note Food Bank will be closed on Tues 26th Dec and will re-open on Tue 2nd Jan)

Safe Harbour community meal every Monday 5.30-6.30pm @ All Saints Church. A two-course dinner and hot drinks for anyone in need of a hot meal. (please note this will be closed on Mon 25th Dec but will be open on 1st Jan New Year’s Day)

Saturday breakfast every Saturday 10-12pm @ All Saints Church for anyone in need of a breakfast and hot drink. (please note this will be closed Sat 30th Dec)

Other services: Vista - outreach and support for women in the sex industry/who have experienced sexual exploitation:
- 1:1 meet-ups - chance to talk in confidence, help with planning safety and next steps when looking for change
- Support with accessing other services - sexual health, domestic abuse, sexual violence, counselling, referrals to immigration support and legal advice, emotional support and prayer when sought.

Haven - weekly women's group - a partnership between Harbour Church, Portsmouth City of Sanctuary and The Medaille Trust Moving on Project. Provides opportunities for women who have experienced, or are experiencing sexual exploitation, gender abuse, or had extreme adverse experiences to discover connection with others in a safe, relaxed, private space. Warm welcome, great refreshments and range of activities for women to enjoy, including beauty treatments, workshops, discussions and informative sessions. Pre-school age children welcome.
