Support With Mental Health
Loaves Of LoveLoaves of Love is a Portsmouth-based community group open to all women, including those facing hardship such as survivors of domestic violence, women recovering from addiction, refugees, asylum seekers, carers, unemployed women, and those experiencing social isolation or financial difficulties.
We run welcoming baking sessions where participants can learn new skills, build confidence, and connect with others in a friendly and supportive environment. Our sessions celebrate diverse cultures through shared recipes and cooking experiences, and we rely on local volunteers, including professional bakers and community helpers, to make each session engaging and enjoyable. Loaves of Love offers opportunities for volunteers to assist, share skills, or donate ingredients and equipment, helping to create a space where women can relax, socialise, and gain practical skills through the joy of baking. |
Med3 MusicMed3 Music is a Portsmouth based music group for people experiencing enduring mental health problems. We offer peer to peer support & social interaction for members who may otherwise be socially isolated through a shared musical experience.

MenWalkTalkWHAT IS MenWalkTalk?
Supporting Wellbeing. Building Communities. MenWalkTalk is a UK charity that creates safe, supportive spaces for men (18+) to walk, talk and connect with others. We organise free, volunteer-led walk-and-talk groups in parks, along seafronts, through woodlands and towns, bringing men together in a relaxed, pressure-free way to support their mental wellbeing. There’s no pressure to talk, no judgement and no expectations. Whether you want to open up, listen, or just meet new people, you’ll be welcomed exactly as you are. Every walk is built on the same simple belief: that walking side by side can change lives. |

PlaylandA new venue in Portsmouth by and for people under 30. We are re-imagining Playland – the abandoned arcade on Commercial Road – into a vibrant, youth-led creative space. And it’s a totally blank canvas…for now!
Wherever you are on your journey and whatever you are passionate about – Playland is a safe space to express yourself, and access opportunities to build skills and experience for your creative career. We’re looking for young people aged 16 – 30 to help shape every part of this new space: from designing the blank-canvas interior into a functional and playful space, to planning what will take place there. In return we’ll offer training, mentoring, and shadowing opportunities, and we will support you to make your ‘dream’ events come true. This is a chance for you to co-create something from the ground up, shaping it as YOU think it should be. |
