Head of Partnerships and Fundraising

HIVE Portsmouth is seeking an experienced fundraiser, strategic partnerships professional or income generation leader to help shape the next stage of our development.
HIVE Portsmouth plays a unique role in the city. We support, connect and strengthen Portsmouth’s voluntary, community and social enterprise sector, helping local organisations respond to need, build capacity and improve outcomes for residents. As we look ahead, we want to diversify our income, grow unrestricted funding and build long-term partnerships that support our work across the city.
This new senior part-time role will lead the development and delivery of our fundraising strategy, developing relationships with trusts and foundations, corporate partners, major donors and strategic funders. You will create compelling propositions, build a strong income pipeline and help position HIVE Portsmouth as a trusted civic partner for businesses, funders and institutions that want to invest in local communities.
We are looking for someone with a strong track record in fundraising, partnerships, business development or income generation. You will be confident working with senior stakeholders, skilled at turning ideas and impact into persuasive funding propositions and motivated by the opportunity to strengthen the voluntary and community sector in Portsmouth.
This role would suit an experienced corporate fundraiser, trusts and foundations specialist, strategic partnerships manager, business development lead, CSR professional or senior relationship manager looking for meaningful, flexible, purpose-led work.

This post is subject to a satisfactory basic DBS check. The role is part time, 18.5 hours per week, on a 2-year fixed term contract initially.
