LGBT Foundation - Domestic Abuse SupportDomestic Abuse Support - We Can Help You
We have a range of different options we can offer based on your individual circumstances. LGBTQ+ Independent Domestic Violence Advisors - Our Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs) provide support to LGBTQ+ people currently at high risk of Domestic Abuse from partner(s), ex-partner(s), or family members. This includes support for LGBTQ+ people who are experiencing or are at risk of honour-based violence/abuse (HBVA), forced marriage, stalking, and coercive controlling behaviours. Reclaim Team - Our Reclaim team offers support to those who are currently or have previously experienced Domestic Abuse from a partner(s), ex-partner(s), or family member(s) and may not require support from an IDVA. You will be allocated your own dedicated caseworker who will provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where you can discuss the issues you have been experiencing and support you to make informed decisions about your situation. |
Naomi House & JacksplaceNaomi house & Jacksplace are hospices for life-limited and life-threatened children and young adults from aross Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Berkshire, West Sussex, Surrey and The Isle of wight.

Off The RecordOTR is here to provide emotional wellbeing and mental health support for young people aged 11-25 in South East Hampshire and Portsmouth by offering a choice of counselling and group work options for young people, and parents / carers, so you can pick the support you feel will be most effective for your situation. Talking to someone in a counselling environment outside school, or home helps build your emotional resilience as you explore changes in your life or respond to traumatic events.

PARCS (Portsmouth Abuse and Rape Counselling Service)PARCS is an organisation based in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire which works with people who have been sexually violated at any time and/or experienced domestic abuse. PARCS provides free specialist counselling and psychotherapy to all genders and sexual orientations, aged 18 and above.
PARCS Helpline provides emotional and listening support, help with practical information and guidance, and help with understanding and accessing relevant services and information. The service is available to anyone who has been affected by sexual violence, rape and/or domestic abuse living in Portsmouth and Southeast Hampshire, including friends and family of survivors. |
Portsmouth Recovery (Society of St James)The Portsmouth Recovery Hub is a one-stop confidential drug and alcohol treatment service available to anyone who lives in Portsmouth concerned about their own or a loved one’s drug and/or alcohol use. We have decades of experience and skill and are ready to help you as soon as you are ready yourself. We understand that sometimes the first step can feel the hardest.
Our supportive staff team are non-judgemental and helps connect you with a whole range of services that can help. This includes access to help from a Doctor or Nurse, one to one support, groups, a community day rehab program, counselling, complementary therapies, detoxification, fun and social activities and education/volunteering opportunities. 44-46 Elm Grove

Self Harm Hub - Solent MindDo you, or someone you care for, self harm? This service looks to provide support for those affected by self-harm.
How we can help: We offer Peer Support groups available to all users with both one to one and group support available, led by those with lived experience. We also have a buddying scheme to link parents/carers with others who have had similar experiences for mutual support. Along with parent/carer specific support and activities, which will help empower you to support a young person in a stigma and judgment free environment. Our support covers both regulars and reserves in the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the British Army and the Royal Air Force and their families, including anyone who has completed National Service. They are all entitled to lifelong support from SSAFA, no matter how long they have served. |
