The Parish of St Mary consists of three Churches and a wide cross section of people of all ages and backgrounds.

We welcome people who wish to explore their faith with us through the various groups and discussions that take place here. We also enjoy meeting together in relaxed and informal occasions and at special events and celebrations. The great thing about the Parish is the variety of ways in which we come together and I look forward to meeting you at some of them!

Whether you are a visitor, or a newcomer to one of the Churches, or are enquiring about Baptism or Marriage then I hope that you will visit us again for one of the services or activities listed.

We are a vibrant community in the heart of Portsmouth who come together to worship our Lord Jesus Christ. Furthermore, we have strong links with our Roman Catholic Primary School, St Swithun’s. There are several religious communities affiliated to us too.

The Sudanese Community in and around Portsmouth help spread vital information about the current COVID-19 Pandemic. All advice is currently provided using the ZOOM Online service enabling the Sudanese COVID-19 Committee to reach out and provide up to date information regarding the pandemic.

Other services also include providing food to the vulnerable as well as assistance with shopping and prescription pick up and delivery.

Age range: 3-18 years old
Type of Classes: Mandarin Fun class (3-5 years old) , Pinyin class (5 years old), Level 1-10, Pre-GCSE, GCSE, A level , HSK 5

Type of teaching : Face to face teaching in the classroom.

Portsmouth Chinese School is part of the Portsmouth Chinese Association (PCA) which is a registered charity organisation. The school was founded in 1980 and has provided opportunities for many generations of local Chinese Children to learn, read and write the language. Students aged between 3 - 18 are taught at various levels depending on their standard.

In recent years we have extended our services. Headteacher Renee Lu welcome children of any ethnic origin who are interested in Chinese Language join our school.

Sylhet District Association

The Church of the Holy Spirit is open for the safe and orderly celebration of public worship. Although all the restrictions on Public Worship have been lifted some people will wish to continue to wear face-coverings and observe social distancing. Please respect the choice of others in this regard.

The Drayton Centre has been at the centre of Social and Leisure activities in the Drayton and Farlington area since 1920.

The North End Team Ministry is an inclusive and welcoming community. We are a team of three Anglican (Church of England) churches who serve a parish of 20,000 people in the north of the city of Portsmouth. We are Three Churches, but One Parish, called to 'Meet Others, Worship God and Serve Portsmouth'. Our congregations bring together people of all ages, cultures, and walks of life and hospitality is at the heart of who we are. So whether you're just curious or looking for a deeper connection, we’d love to see you. The Parish Church of the Ascension is a warm and lively parish church in the Anglo-Catholic tradition, located in the residential area of North End in the City of Portsmouth.

We are Church of England churches located in the North East corner of the ‘island’ of Portsmouth.

St. Cuthbert’s serves the community around the Baffins area and St. Aidan’s the Anchorage Park area of the parish.

The parish is a member of Inclusive Church and want everyone to feel welcome to join us on Sundays or at activities on other days of the week.
