Sundays @ St Mag's - WELCOME!

Welcome! Here at St Mag's, our hope is that you would find a sense of belonging and become part of the St Mag's family. Our vision is to reach out to our community and serve each other.

The 9.30am

Meet for toast, coffee and tea.

The service begins at 10.00am. You don't have to get there by 9.30am, you can just turn up at 10.00am if you wish! We always start with an action song, a game and short talk, and then a time on the soft play for the little ones.

Whether you know Jesus, or might like to know more about him, please come along.

The 4.00pm

We begin with welcome, sung worship and a talk. Coffee, and biscuits after the service. Our heart is to hear the word of God, worship, and we love to hear stories of what God is doing in people's lives. Trained and accountable prayer ministry team members are at hand to pray for you during the service. There are children's groups during the service.

Come to the Connections table at the end of the service where there will be someone available to talk to you about what goes on at St Margaret's and what you can get involved with.

The Parish of St Mary consists of three Churches and a wide cross section of people of all ages and backgrounds.

We welcome people who wish to explore their faith with us through the various groups and discussions that take place here. We also enjoy meeting together in relaxed and informal occasions and at special events and celebrations. The great thing about the Parish is the variety of ways in which we come together and I look forward to meeting you at some of them!

St Michaels and All Angels was formally constituted as an ecclesiastical parish of the Church of England in the Diocese of Portsmouth when the parish church was consecrated in July 1957.

Our church is brick-built, in a Neo Georgian style circa 1957, architect Thomas Ford. It stands on the slopes of Portsdown Hill, overlooking a green and enjoys some stunning views of the city of Portsmouth. It has the benefit of a small garden enclosed within iron railings and full length windows which offer shafts of light into the main church on sunny days.

Welcome to our Catholic Churches serving the Parish of St Colman's with St Paul, Portsmouth. We share the message of Christ and worship Him together. At the same time, we extend His love and His welcome to the world at large, as best we can. God bless and please do take the time to visit us when you can. Welcome to the churches of St Philip’s Cosham and St. Peter & St. Paul Wymering. We are two church communities who are passionate about serving our local area. We worship in two different yet equally beautiful buildings under the leadership of one Vicar.

Both our parishes together, are continually seeking opportunities to serve our communities. We are a work in progress, so do check back regularly to see what we’re up to. And of course, you are most welcome to join us at any of our services, groups or activities. St. Philip’s is a friendly church with a heart to serve the people of the Highbury estate. We enjoy welcoming visitors from all over this country and beyond.

Whether you’re joining us at one of our regular services; to celebrate a baptism or wedding; to come in remembrance for a funeral or simply to sit quietly and soak in the atmosphere of prayer and stillness, you are most welcome.

St Philip's Monday Meeat is a lunchtime social group, nearly every Monday at St Philips Church Hall between 11.30 and 13.30.

Join us for a simple lunch and a bit of company.

Built in 1914, The Parish Church of St Saviour is a warm and lively parish church in the Anglo-Catholic tradition, located in the residential area of Stamshaw in the City of Portsmouth.

Irrespective of whether you are strong in the faith, newly converted, exploring religion for the first time or just moved into the area, you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome, please don't take our word for it, come and find out for yourself.

St Saviour holds regular normal services also providing the parish with christening's, weddings, banns read and funeral services.

Children and families are very welcome.
