Supporting bereaved children and young people with free support, resources, training and advice with specific information for schools and professionals

HiB offers a voluntary, supportive and totally confidential visiting service for bereaved people.​

Help in Bereavement was set up in 1979 as a response to the perceived needs of those suffering the grief, loneliness and social isolation caused by losing someone they love. We offer a free visiting service covering Portsmouth, Gosport, Fareham and Havant (SE Hampshire).

Hope Again is the youth website of Cruse Bereavement Support. It is a safe place where you can learn from other young people, how to cope with grief, and feel less alone.
Here you will find information about our services, a listening ear from other young people and advice for any young person dealing with the loss of a loved one.
Hope Again provides somewhere to turn to when someone dies.

Jigsaw (South East) supports bereaved children, young people and their families and also those affected by a family member having a terminal diagnosis.

The Lullaby Trust offers confidential support to anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or young child. This support is here whenever you need it, whether the death was recent or many years ago. It is available for families, friends, carers and professionals. There are different ways we can support you and you can choose from our range of services.

Not-for-profit NBS delivers free, impartial and helpful
practical and emotional advice to people who are
bereaved, as well as those preparing for their own future
incapacity and death or that of people they care for.
Helping clients to make the right choices for their own
circumstances, via a free helpline, email or webchat,
professional bereavement advisers provide immediate
emotional support and suggest trusted organisations for
longer-term guidance with grief, while practical information
helps those dealing with a death to navigate essential
administration tasks.

Most people experience grief when they lose someone important to them. It affects everyone differently. There's no right or wrong way to feel.
