Rhyme-times – Friday, 10-10.30am (term-time only)

Second Tuesday of Every Month 2- 3.30 pm

The knitting group at Caroline Square provides a welcoming space where people can come along to knit and socialise. If you are unable to knit but would like to learn, we can teach you! There will be the opportunity to take part in community knitting projects, we have knitting supplies available if you don't have your own.

We would also welcome anyone who would like to volunteer at the group.

Small, free car park available and located on good bus routes (just off Queen Street, opposite the John Pounds Centre)

Company of Makers exists to support ex-Service personnel and their partners with transitioning from military to civilian life, no matter how long it’s been since they left the Armed Forces.

Loaning of books, CD's, magazine online subscription.
The library runs a 50+ craft club and rhymetimes as well as public access to computers for library users.

If you enjoy crafting or would like to learn a new crafting skill, pop along to a craft club. We recommend you ring the library first to check the club is running that week.

Eastney Community Centre runs a wide variety of classes and sessions, has bookable rooms and a café.

The Ellipsis Academy offers dance classes in 9 different styles to students aged from 18 months to adults in central Portsmouth.

Folk Dance for fun & fitness. Monthly Sunday 2-4pm Havelock community centre.
Janet teaches international folk & circle dances. £7 includes tea & cake

Follow your dreamz performing arts was founded on the belief that everyone has the right to experience the joy and personal benefit that comes from the arts. We know that the performing arts are a fantastic way of building confidence, increasing self esteem, and trying new things, also learning about yourself and others.

We are proud to offer opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds; from our Drama and youth theatre, tv and film acting, professional performances, working also with industry professionals and we also offer arts awards for our older children.

We have just introduced adults singing for fun classes too!
